BrandFM has previously used companies, brands, folders, and tags to organize assets.

However many users found the use of “brands” a little confusing. in fact many customers already used folders for brands.

We made a change to brands a few weeks ago to help, but we found that in most cases the ‘brand’ page was not being used. We now realized that the “brand” pages were not needed at all.

So in an effort to simplify the system and remove complexity for users, we’ve removed “brand” as a separate organizing entity.

What this means is that if your account includes multiple brands, you can use the top level of your folder structure to identify your brands. Alternatively you can use brands as sub-folder names. It’s up to you how you organize your assets.

It’s now more flexible and easier to understand where your assets are and a search will find everything including any folders named with a brand name.
